I heard my mobile shouting its heart out to wake me up at 8.30 A.M on a friday morning and thats after i tried to shut its mouth by putting it on snooze for half an hour...finally he won.. got up..saw a new message which had come when i was in my deep sleep at 7.50 A.M.
Mom came up with a super duper coffee and gave it in my hands when i was still rolling on the bed kicking my sis lying next to me..."oh yeah she gets up only at 11". Had a super bed coffee, and my hand went to my mobile automatically.On the face of the mobile it said "1 New Message". Thought it would be some vetty guy who would hav sent a "good morning, hav an ausm day" ...... But to my surprise...the message was sent by her.....and it had "hey, gud morning...jus thought of meeting u today...hmm..come over to anna nagar CCD at 7...see u there".
My eyebrows went up...cos she hardly sends me a message early in the morning like that, So i could feel how intensified meet it could probably turn out to be!!!
Left home and reached office a little late but was happy to see my boss's chair unoccupied.
Work suddenly felt so heaven cos all deals were getting thru without any hassles and i got an appreciation from one of my client for the assistance which i gave him couple of weeks back. So that added on to the surprises for the day. In between i was getting reminders from her for the meet up.. and i promised that i will be there by 7!!!
Work got over at 6 P.m Sharp!!! "wat a surprise"!!!...took my car and came out of office and i exactly had 1 hour to reach anna nagar in the heavy traffic..
Tried all my driving skills and finally reached Anna nagar CCD at 7.30 p.m. Well i was a little scared to go in front of her and say "Sorry", cos i knew how badly she wanted to meet me that day!!!
Went in.. Saw her sitting with her legs crossed in a corner table, Slowly went towards her and sat in front of her.
She called the bearer and said "One COLDDD coffee", the order which she gave clearly intimated me how she was fuming inside her....The bearer looked at me and said "Sir, can i hav ur order?" I said "One bill for a cold coffee Please"!!!
The cold coffee she had, guess pushed in the words which she was suppose to throw at me...cos Not even the first alphabet in English came out...!!!
She drank the coffee till the last drop and stood up and started walking towards the door!! I paid the bill and ran behind her and i was happy to see that she actually found my car and was standing near the front door :) I felt much relieved !!!
She got into my car and i started driving towards her home...Since the car was filled with silence, i switched on the music system which started playin some nice slow songs of Elvis!!
Finally i reached her house... But she didnt get down... then i took her hands...held it between my palms.... looked at her and said... "HEY..IM SORRY"...until then she didnt even look at me!!! Then she slowly turned around and said in a hard familiar voice"DAI .. EZHUNDHIRUDA"...........I was like.........."WAT..this is not your voice!!!???"... again she said"DAI...EVLO NERAM DA THOONGUVA EZHUNDHRUDAAA"!!!!!... I was still confused!!!!!!.........then felt one strong "THHHUUDDD" on my shoulder......and again i heard the same sentence with some added words in it!!!"DAIII OFFICE KU POLIYA INNIKU???EZHUNDHRU DAA MANI 8.30 AARRRDHU!!!!".......Then ..Suddenly i got up with full force... shook my head and saw my mom staring at me and saying "INNIKU FRIDAY.... SATURDAY ILLA.....EZHUNDHU OFFICE KU KELAMBU....PO!!!"...she said....then my hand automatically searched for the mobile...when i looked the mbl..it said "1 New Message"....i was sooo excited to look into it...and i made sure that i should reach CCD on dot this time around!!... When i opened the message it said "Hi...Gud Morning...Hav An Ausm Day".....................From that very same damn vetty guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
